Drip drip drop little april showers.

April 19

Well it wasn't so "Little" of April Showers....we got a good 2 hours of pouring rain yesterday! So yesterday, my companion was too sick to work so she stayed home with another sister and i went out with the ward missionaries....here you don't just go out with 1 at a time; you go with all of them. So I went out to find some less actives with the youth and young single adults. We walked into a house with the sun shining, 101 degree weather, and not a cloud insight...about 1/2 through the lesson it started POURING! That's when a younger boy came in that we are trying to reactivate so we decided to teach him until the rain let up (which we assumed would happen in like 5 more minutes) then continue on our way. That's not exactly what happened. We ended up getting stuck in this member's house for another hour. When it started to ease up, we decided to leave before it could start again. The only problem was that it was completely flooded! We had to trudge our way through a muddy flood to get back to a main paved road! It was really funny. Afterwards i was assuming these poor, soaking wet Ward Missionaries would want to call it a day but instead they asked " Where next, Sister Norman?" I am so thankful for our diligent ward missionaries!
This week is transfer week so i am excited to see if i will be staying in Moncada with Sister Laiti or if one of us is leaving!   Either way I am ready for it. This last week has been a bit challenging. I got sick for a few days, we had our family that was going to be baptized move to manila for a few months, companion was sick parin and just normal stress that everyone get. But the amazing part of it was overcoming all of the trials and my shortcomings with the help of the atonement and finding solace in The Book of Mormon, prayer, hymns, and service. This week was evidence that anything is possible with the Lord's help. I am constantly being reminded of how much my Savior and my Father in Heaven love me. This week the endless prayers from my Sister, her husband, me,and their friends and family and leaders were answered! She got the medical clearance they have been yearning for, for a few months now to go to Japan. It was done all in the Lord's time and how He knew would be best for her and her family. I am thankful for the faithful prayers that were answered! Sorry for the shorter message this week! I love and miss all of you!  Take care!
Watch and share...there will be new videos each month!
