So we just got back from a Water Buffalo Milk place...it was
magical...I haven't had real milk since before I left. Even though water
buffalo milk is crazy creamy/fatty, it wasn't half bad..it's as close to real
milk as i'm going to get! Sister Dalley and I shared some icecream annnnd
Carrot cake! it was a party. Speaking of parties, somehow we always seem to
stumble across them. This week we had a huge lunch (someone gave us pancakes so
we had breakfast for lunch) but we got to an investigators house where there
was a party going on. They insisted we eat...they brought out the biggest heap
of pansit and Bekoh...so yummy but...SO MUCH FOOD! Oh ya..by to everyone who is
nervous about the typhoon in the Philippines, it's not in my area..it's only
been a bit cloudy here, which has actually been a really nice break from the
sun! It's still crazy how beautiful it is here...i still just end up staring at
the sky or big rice fields or getting distracted by all the water buffalo,
goats, and ducks.
This week i got the opportunity to work with both of the
Sister Training leaders. My roommate's companion went to Australia this week
(where she was actually called) and so when my companion and roommate had to go
sing in Tarlac for a Christmas party, I got to go to the STL's area! it was
great! i learned so much! One of them is my Lola (granny..she is the trainer of
my trainer...Here you call trainers Nanay [mom] or Tatay [dad])
Anyway...it's been a really good week over all! Miss and Love you! Be safe on all those slick
