Noah came before the flood; I came before the fire

Guess who came for our devotional?!?! Elder and Sister Oaks and Elder and Sister Adern!!! It was amazing! My kasama and I got front row!! so i was approximately 5 ft away from him the whole night. And to begin our Devotional, all 156 missionaries and Alll of the leaders got to shake their hands. It was amazing. I think my teacher Brother Garcia got a good picture of me! I loved the two talks! One was on Christ Like attributes (sister Oaks) and Elder Oaks talked mostly just about our missions and how we are here to establish the church..not just baptize. After the amazing devotional I was assigned to give the prayer!! I gave a prayer infront of our area president and one of the 12! Talk about pressure! I was so nervous! it was probably the most honored and humbled i have felt my whole life!!!
After the devotional, my district got together for like an hour and just talked about what we had learned and my Kasama shared her thoughts then felt prompted to read Her favorite poem: He's Been there Before. She and i have read it together pero this was the first time we read it as a district and man... The spirit was buzzing!
Oo..my pretty water bottle broke... that was a bummer. now i have to use the MTC ones that are really awesome but not pink...i wrote a poem about how it..ready:
Oh lovely pink bottle
how i love you
you purified my water
until you broke in two
you helped me stand out
like none other would
i don't think I could fix you
But i wish that i could
you fell off my bed
up so high
Meow you're in Bottle Heaven
up in the sky
How could you leave me
to fend for myself
now your new spot
will be on the shelf
oh lovely pink pottle
how i'll miss you
Meow that you're gone
My Heart sits in two
Rip bottle  anyway....
I went prosolyting again.... of course it was amazing yet again! I rode in a jeepney and a trike...which is a tiny motorcycle with an itty bitty thing hooked on to it; i sat on the inside with my kasama while about 4 other people pile on the sides on each other's laps. It was quite interesting.. or terrifying...don't really know which.
I met some really amazing people though! I bore my testimony sa Tagalog which was pretty sweet. The lesson i struggle with pero at they end they said they felt and understood everything...thank Heavens for the Holy Ghost eh?Guess who came for our devotional?!?!
